Born in Bradford and Raised in care, Dominic had no idea of his rich Gambian traditions, until, aged 13, he was reunited with his father, Gabriel.
This turning point is where Dominic began to understand his lineage and the history of his family.
From his father, Dominic learnt how food brought Gambian people together, how using only the very best ingredients was vital to the outcome and that patience can be a magical part of any creative process.
